Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same.
My brothers went nuts when they saw a White Castle.

There was a really long, pretty walkway between these 3 museums and Navy Pier. There were sculptures and tulips just about everywhere. From Navy Pier you could see the whole city skyline, which was gorgeous. We went to the Adler Planetarium, it was a lot of fun.

My dad and I took a tour at the Art Institute of Chicago, which was neat. They had this one huge exhibit about an artist from the 1800's named Girodet. It was unreal how incredible the stuff he painted was. We weren't allowed to take pictures in that one. Here are a few other favorites.

Millenium Park was awesome. There were these huge fountains that looked like buildings, but water was coming out of the whole thing. Then every ten minutes or so a face would appear on one side of the fountain, like a screen. Then it would look like it was spitting out water on the floor.

There was also this huge metallic sculpture called Cloud Gate, it looked like a silver bean. All the reflections in it were distorted, but it looked very cool. Then, when you stand underneath it, it's just reflections of everything around you over and over in circles. It looks like there's a big reflective hole in the top, if that makes sense.

We also went to a lot of improv shows, which was SO much fun. There are black box theaters all over the place. There was one troup called Baby Wants Candy. They did a completely improvised one-act musical that someone from the audience titled Yeah, But I Double Dare You. It was hilarious. We went to Second City to see a show called The Immaculate Deception, which was partially improvised. It was very political and very funny. It's unbelievable how many talented people there are in the world.
It was a fun trip. Chicago is a very pretty city with lots to do. Hope everyone's having a good weekend.
